Use the Housekeeping Dashboard

The housekeeping dashboard gives managers a quick view of room readiness, staff workload, room requests, tasks, and operational follow-up.

Before You Start

  • You need manager access to HOME.
  • Rooms, room types, and sections should already be configured.
  • Staff should be active and assigned to the correct housekeeping team.

Review the Dashboard

  1. Open HOME and go to the dashboard.
  2. Check room readiness counts against expected arrivals.
  3. Review open tasks, room requests, Lost & Found records, and DM Log items.
  4. Open any card that needs action.
  5. Reassign or follow up on work before the next operational checkpoint.

Operational Checks

  • Use the dashboard at shift start to find urgent gaps.
  • Use the room queue for detailed room readiness work.
  • Use reports when you need historical performance or handover data.

Troubleshooting

Dashboard numbers look wrong

What you see: Counts do not match what staff expect.

Do this:

  1. Refresh the dashboard.
  2. Check selected property, date, and filters.
  3. Open the related detail page, such as room queue or tasks.
  4. Confirm staff updated the room or task status.
