Set Up DM Log Categories

DM Log categories keep duty manager notes, incidents, and follow-up items consistent for handover.

Before You Start

  • Confirm the property's handover process.
  • Confirm which categories managers should use.
  • Confirm which notes should be included in email summaries.

Configure Categories

  1. Go to HOME -> Duty Manager Categories.
  2. Review existing categories.
  3. Add categories that match the property's handover needs.
  4. Update names or descriptions if they are unclear.
  5. Save changes.
  6. Confirm categories appear when creating a DM Log entry.

Troubleshooting

Category is missing from the log form

What you see: Duty managers cannot select the right category.

Do this:

  1. Confirm the category exists.
  2. Confirm the category is active.
  3. Refresh the DM Log page.
  4. Contact support if active categories do not appear.
