Set Up DM Log Categories
DM Log categories keep duty manager notes, incidents, and follow-up items consistent for handover.
Quick Reference

Before You Start
- Confirm the property's handover process.
- Confirm which categories managers should use.
- Confirm which notes should be included in email summaries.
Configure Categories
- Go to HOME -> Duty Manager Categories.
- Review existing categories.
- Add categories that match the property's handover needs.
- Update names or descriptions if they are unclear.
- Save changes.
- Confirm categories appear when creating a DM Log entry.
Troubleshooting
Category is missing from the log form
What you see: Duty managers cannot select the right category.
Do this:
- Confirm the category exists.
- Confirm the category is active.
- Refresh the DM Log page.
- Contact support if active categories do not appear.
