Assign Rooms to Staff

Room assignment helps managers distribute rooms across housekeeping staff and monitor progress during a shift.

Before You Start

  • Staff accounts must be active.
  • Rooms and sections must be configured.
  • The manager should know the daily staffing plan.

Assign Rooms

  1. Go to HOME -> Room Assignment.
  2. Select the date or shift if the page offers date selection.
  3. Review unassigned rooms and available staff.
  4. Assign rooms by section, room list, or staff member.
  5. Save the assignment.
  6. Ask staff to refresh their task or room list if needed.

Adjust Assignments During a Shift

  1. Reopen the assignment page.
  2. Find the staff member whose workload changed.
  3. Move rooms to another staff member or section.
  4. Save the update.
  5. Confirm both staff members can see the updated work.

Troubleshooting

Staff cannot see assigned rooms

What you see: The manager assigned rooms, but staff cannot see them.

Do this:

  1. Confirm the staff member is logged into the correct property.
  2. Confirm the assignment was saved.
  3. Confirm the staff role allows room assignment work.
  4. Ask the staff member to refresh or log in again.
