Before You Start

  • Staff members must exist and have the correct role.
  • Task types should be configured.
  • Rooms should be configured if tasks are room-based.
  • Teams should know which GEP assistance categories they own.

Work From the Task Board

  1. Go to HOME -> Tasks.
  2. Review open tasks by date, status, owner, room, or GEP assistance category.
  3. Select a task to view details.
  4. Assign or reassign the owner if needed.
  5. Update status as work progresses.
  6. Add notes when staff need handover context.
  7. Close the task when the work is complete.

GEP assistance requests should be handled like other operational tasks. The guest starts the request in GEP, but staff ownership, status changes, notes, and completion belong on the task board.

Manager Checks

  • Review overdue tasks first.
  • Confirm high-priority tasks have an owner.
  • Reassign tasks when staff workload changes.
  • Use reports for repeated delays or missed tasks.
