Before You Start

  • Confirm the catalogue purpose.
  • Confirm categories and items that will belong to it.
  • Confirm operating hours and payment requirements.
  • Confirm whether the catalogue should show a guest notice banner.
  • Confirm whether the catalogue should support staff assistance, guest checkout, or a no-payment flow.
  • Prepare approved catalogue images and translated labels where required.
  • Confirm whether auto setup is available for the property.

Create a Catalogue

  1. Go to Catalogue V3 -> Catalogues.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Enter the catalogue name, description, reference code, and guest-facing details.
  4. Upload and crop the catalogue image if the catalogue should show one.
  5. Configure visibility and basic settings.
  6. Configure subcategory use, additional notes, unavailable item visibility, notice banner content, staff assistance, and in-house catalogue behavior where applicable.
  7. Set payment, order confirmation email, and POS-related options if the property uses them.
  8. Save the catalogue.
  9. Add categories and items before publishing to guests.

Review the Catalogue List

Use the catalogue list to confirm the catalogue exists, open it for editing, copy or open the guest URL, and verify whether managers should continue setup through categories, items, payment, POS, or operating hours.

When reviewing the list:

  1. Search or scan for the catalogue name.
  2. Confirm the active or visible state matches the go-live plan.
  3. Open the catalogue before changing operational settings.
  4. Use the demo link or copy URL action for testing only after setup is ready.

Manage an Existing Catalogue

  1. Open the catalogue list.
  2. Select the catalogue.
  3. Update visible details, settings, or active state.
  4. Save changes.
  5. Confirm the guest-facing flow shows the expected content.

Image, Preview, and Languages

Catalogue setup includes guest-facing presentation. Managers should:

  • Upload an approved image and crop it so important content remains visible on mobile.
  • Check overlay and header text styling so the title remains readable.
  • Use the language picker to review translated names, descriptions, button labels, and checkout text.
  • Use the phone preview or demo link as a first guest-facing check.
  • Reopen the live guest catalogue link after saving because previews do not replace real guest testing.

Configure Notice Banner

Use the notice banner when guests should see a catalogue-level notice at the top of the guest page.

  1. Open the catalogue.
  2. Enable the notice banner.
  3. Enter the notice title and description in each required language.
  4. Upload an optional notice image if the notice should include one.
  5. Save the catalogue.
  6. Open the guest link and confirm the banner appears above the catalogue content.
  7. Confirm the text still reads clearly when the notice is longer than one screen.

  3. Keep the message operational: order number, guest details, pickup or delivery context, and support path.

  • After auto setup completes, manually review catalogues, categories, subcategories, items, images, operating hours, payment, and POS settings before publishing.
