Facility Booking Notifications

Facility Booking notifications alert staff when booking events need attention, such as new bookings, confirmations, or operational updates.

Before You Start

  • Browser notifications should be allowed if the team uses them.
  • Staff should have access to bookings.
  • Notification recipients should match the property workflow.
  • Customer email templates should be approved before enabling guest confirmations.

Review Notifications

  1. Open Facility Booking.
  2. Check the notification area or notifications page.
  3. Open unread items first.
  4. Follow the notification link or open the related booking.
  5. Update the booking if action is required.

Use the Notifications List

  1. Go to Facility Booking -> Notifications.
  2. Review notifications by date and pagination.
  3. Open a notification to see details.
  4. Use mark all as read only after staff have reviewed current booking alerts.
  5. Open the related booking when action is required.

Configure Customer Email

Use customer email settings when guests should receive a booking confirmation email.

  1. Open the facility or activity.
  2. Enable customer email confirmation.
  3. Review the subject and email template.
  4. Use approved variables such as guest name, room number, phone number, hotel name, quantity, activity name, currency, category name, slot date, price per pax, total price, price details, slot time, and terms.
  5. Save changes.
  6. Create a test booking and confirm the email content is correct.

Troubleshooting

Staff do not receive booking notifications

What you see: Bookings are created, but staff do not see alerts.

Do this:

  1. Confirm browser notifications are allowed.
  2. Confirm staff is logged into the correct property.
  3. Confirm staff has access to Facility Booking.
  4. Check whether the booking appears in the booking list.

Notifications keep showing as unread

What you see: Staff reviewed notifications, but the unread count remains high.

Do this:

  1. Open the notifications list.
  2. Review date filters and pagination.
  3. Mark all as read only if current alerts have been handled.
  4. Refresh the page.

Customer confirmation email is wrong

What you see: Guest receives a booking email with missing or incorrect details.

Do this:

  1. Open the facility customer email settings.
  2. Check subject, template, variables, and enabled state.
  3. Confirm the booking has the guest details used by the template.
  4. Save and create another test booking.
