Send DM Log Email Summaries
DM Log email summary and dashboard pages help managers review operational handover output and make sure the right groups receive dashboard emails. Use these pages when a property relies on email summaries for shift review, management visibility, or recurring handover distribution.

Before You Start
- DM Log categories and follow-up standards should already be configured.
- Confirm who should receive dashboard email summaries.
- Confirm whether the property expects manual sends, scheduled sends, or both.
- Confirm recipient email addresses before using the page for live operations.
Review or Send Dashboard Email
- Go to HOME -> Emailer Dashboard.
- Confirm the selected property and date range.
- Review the dashboard or summary content before sending.
- Check whether unresolved DM Log follow-ups should be included in the handover context.
- Trigger the email only after confirming the content and recipient expectations.
- Confirm the send result or delivery state where shown.
Configure Group Dashboard Subscriptions
- Go to HOME -> Group Dashboard Email Subscription.
- Review existing groups and recipients.
- Add, remove, or update recipient email addresses.
- Confirm the subscription is active only for groups that should receive summaries.
- Save changes.
- Ask a manager in the recipient group to confirm the next expected delivery.
Handover Checks
Before relying on a summary email for shift handover, confirm:
- Critical DM Log entries are saved.
- Follow-up items have owners and clear next actions.
- Guest issues include room or guest context where appropriate.
- The email date range matches the shift being reviewed.
- Recipients match the intended management or operations group.
Troubleshooting
Summary email is missing
What you see: A group expected a dashboard email, but nobody received it.
Do this:
- Confirm the group subscription is active.
- Confirm recipient email addresses are correct.
- Check the expected date and schedule.
- Ask recipients to check spam or quarantine if other emails are arriving.
- Escalate with the group name, expected delivery time, and recipient list.
Summary content looks incomplete
What you see: The email arrived, but expected DM Log entries or follow-ups are missing.
Do this:
- Confirm the entries exist in Duty Manager Log.
- Check the email date range and selected property.
- Confirm filters or dashboard settings did not exclude the records.
- Refresh the source DM Log page and compare with the summary.
Wrong recipients received the email
What you see: A dashboard email was sent to the wrong group or outdated recipients.
Do this:
- Open Group Dashboard Email Subscription.
- Review the affected group recipient list.
- Remove outdated recipients and save.
- Confirm whether a replacement summary needs to be sent to the correct group.
