Before You Start

  • Confirm the product area: HOME, GEP, Facility Booking, or Catalogue V3.
  • Confirm whether the issue affects staff text, guest text, or notifications.
  • Confirm the staff member is in the expected property.
  • Confirm the relevant module is enabled for the property.

Language Checks

  1. Confirm the expected language is enabled for the property or guest flow.
  2. For manager-configured guest text, open the related configuration page.
  3. Check the default language first, then the translated language fields.
  4. Confirm required titles, labels, descriptions, and form fields are not blank.
  5. Preview or reload the guest/staff page after saving changes.

HOME staff screens use shared labels for many operational controls. For miscellaneous assistance items, HOME uses the staff language preference first, then the current language, then English. If one label looks wrong across several HOME pages, treat it as a shared language issue. If only one configured guest item is wrong, check that item's translated field first.

Notification Checks

  1. Confirm browser notifications are allowed.
  2. Confirm the staff member can open the related HOME or Facility Booking page.
  3. Confirm the source record exists, such as a task, room assignment, Lost & Found report, DM Log item, or booking.
  4. Open notification history and clear date or segment filters.
  5. Ask another staff member with the same role to check whether they receive the alert.

HOME manager notifications can be filtered by date and segment. Staff notifications in the room attendant flow can be filtered by tab and date. Facility Booking notifications have their own notification list.
