Configure Operating Hours

Operating hours control when catalogues, categories, or items are available to guests.

Before You Start

  • Confirm service hours with operations.
  • Confirm timezone and day-of-week rules.
  • Confirm what guests should see outside operating hours.

Configure Hours

  1. Open the catalogue or item setup.
  2. Go to operating hours.
  3. Choose all-day availability or advanced day-specific hours.
  4. Add the available days and time intervals.
  5. Check for overlapping intervals or unintended across-midnight rules.
  6. Save changes.
  7. Test a time that should be open.
  8. Test a time that should be closed.

Configure Scheduled Orders

Use scheduled order settings when guests can choose a later fulfillment date or time.

  1. Open the catalogue schedule order settings.
  2. Enable scheduled date, scheduled time, or both.
  3. Configure the date range or days guests can choose.
  4. Configure allowed time ranges and preorder duration.
  5. Add warning or instruction text if guests need to understand preparation timing.
  6. Save and test checkout with a valid future time.
  7. Test checkout with an invalid or closed time to confirm the blocker is clear.

Troubleshooting

Guest sees catalogue closed

What you see: Guests cannot order even though staff expect the catalogue to be open.

Do this:

  1. Check catalogue operating hours.
  2. Check category and item operating hours.
  3. Confirm the current date and time.
  4. Confirm the item is active and visible.

Scheduled order time is rejected

What you see: Guest can open checkout but cannot select the expected fulfillment time.

Do this:

  1. Check scheduled order date and time settings.
  2. Confirm the selected time is inside operating hours.
  3. Confirm preorder duration and days-to-show rules.
  4. Review warning messages so guests know what time can be selected.
