Manage Categories and Subcategories
Categories and subcategories decide how guests browse items inside a catalogue.
Quick Reference

Before You Start
- Create the catalogue first.
- Confirm the item grouping with operations.
- Confirm guest-facing labels and order.
Create Categories
- Open the catalogue.
- Go to category management.
- Add the category name and guest-facing details.
- Set active state and sort order.
- Save changes.
Add Subcategories
- Open the parent category.
- Add the subcategory.
- Enter visible name and details.
- Save changes.
- Confirm items can be assigned to the correct category or subcategory.
Troubleshooting
Items appear in the wrong group
What you see: Guests see an item under the wrong category.
Do this:
- Open the item setup.
- Check assigned category and subcategory.
- Check category sort order.
- Save and refresh the guest view.
