Add Items, Options, Add-Ons, and Components
Items are what guests order. Options, add-ons, and components let managers capture variations and extra choices.

Before You Start
- Catalogue and category should exist.
- Price, tax, surcharge, and POS behavior should be known.
- Guest-facing item photos and text should be approved.
Add an Item
- Open the catalogue.
- Choose the category or subcategory.
- Add a new item.
- Enter name, description, price, image, and availability.
- Add options, add-ons, or components if the item requires choices.
- Save the item.
- Test the item in the guest flow.
Review Item Setup
- Confirm price is correct.
- Confirm required options are clear.
- Confirm unavailable items are hidden or labeled according to policy.
- Confirm item operating hours do not conflict with catalogue hours.
Troubleshooting
Item does not appear for guests
What you see: Staff saved an item, but guests cannot order it.
Do this:
- Confirm the item is active.
- Confirm the category and catalogue are active.
- Check item and catalogue operating hours.
- Confirm required price or setup fields are complete.
