Configure Task Types, Staff, and Reports
Task Manager depends on task types, active staff, and reporting views that match the team's operational process.

Before You Start
- Confirm the property already uses HOME Task Manager.
- Confirm managers know the task categories the team needs for daily work.
- Confirm staff profiles exist before assigning tasks to staff.
- Confirm reporting access is available for managers who review task performance.
Configure Task Types
- Go to HOME -> Task Configuration.
- Review existing task types.
- Add or update task names, categories, default priority, and required fields.
- Disable task types that should not be used.
- Save changes.
Review Staff Setup
- Go to HOME -> Staff.
- Confirm each staff member is active.
- Confirm team or role assignment.
- Confirm staff can access the correct HOME task view.
Review Task Reports
- Go to HOME -> Reports -> Task Report.
- Select the date range.
- Filter by staff, task type, or status.
- Review overdue, completed, and repeated task patterns.
Troubleshooting
A task type is missing
What you see: Managers cannot select the task type they need.
Do this:
- Check task configuration.
- Confirm the task type is active.
- Confirm filters are not hiding it.
- Contact support if the type is active but still missing.
