Create, Assign, and Complete Tasks
A task should clearly describe the work, owner, priority, due time, and completion result.
Quick Reference

Before You Start
- Confirm the task type exists.
- Confirm the assigned staff member is active.
- Confirm room or location details are correct.
Create a Task
- Go to HOME -> Tasks.
- Click Create or the equivalent add action.
- Select the task type.
- Add room, location, priority, due time, and notes.
- Assign the task to the correct staff member or team.
- Save the task.
Complete a Task
- Open the assigned task.
- Review instructions and notes.
- Update the status when work starts.
- Add completion notes if required.
- Mark the task complete.
- Confirm the task no longer appears as open.
Troubleshooting
Staff completed work but the task is still open
What you see: The work is done, but the task board still shows the task as open.
Do this:
- Open the task details.
- Check whether the status was saved.
- Check whether required completion fields are missing.
- Refresh the board.
