Legacy Room Request Settings

This page is kept for existing links. For the current guest-facing assistance flow, use GEP Assistance Requests.

Older room request settings may still describe internal staff-created request categories or item lists. They should not be treated as the primary place to understand guest requests from the GEP Assistance menu.

  • Use the task board to review ownership, status, notes, and completion.

Troubleshooting

Guests are using the wrong request path

What you see: Staff are reviewing legacy settings, but guest requests are coming from the GEP Assistance menu.

Do this:

  1. Use GEP assistance configuration for the guest-facing menu.
  2. Use Task Manager settings for ownership and completion behavior.
  3. Keep legacy clean room or amenities settings only for staff-created internal requests.
