Legacy Room Request Settings
This page is kept for existing links. For the current guest-facing assistance flow, use GEP Assistance Requests.
Older room request settings may still describe internal staff-created request categories or item lists. They should not be treated as the primary place to understand guest requests from the GEP Assistance menu.
Legacy Settings To Check
| Setting | Use It For | What To Check |

| Amenities | Older internal amenities item lists or request behavior. | Confirm active items, labels, and quantities match the property process. |
| Request routing | Staff-created request follow-up. | Confirm staff know whether to use legacy requests or the task board. |

Troubleshooting
Guests are using the wrong request path
What you see: Staff are reviewing legacy settings, but guest requests are coming from the GEP Assistance menu.
Do this:
- Use GEP assistance configuration for the guest-facing menu.
- Use Task Manager settings for ownership and completion behavior.
- Keep legacy clean room or amenities settings only for staff-created internal requests.
