Use Calendar and Daily Views

Calendar and daily views help facility staff understand booking volume by date, time, activity, and slot availability.

Before You Start

  • Availability rules should be configured.
  • Bookings should have clear statuses.
  • Staff should know which facilities they manage.
  • Staff should confirm the selected view and filters before comparing booking counts.

Use the Daily View

  1. Go to Facility Booking -> Bookings.
  2. Switch to Daily from the booking view control.
  3. Select the date.
  4. Choose the activity or booking type if the control panel is available.
  5. Select the booking statuses you want to include.
  6. Review each time slot, including available capacity and booking counts.
  7. Open a booking when it requires confirmation, edit, arrival update, or follow-up.

Use the Calendar View

  1. Go to Facility Booking -> Bookings.
  2. Switch to Calendar.
  3. Select the date or date range.
  4. Use facility filters to focus the calendar.
  5. Open a booking or slot when staff need to review details.

Filter Behavior

  • The booking page remembers the last selected view.
  • The daily view remembers selected status filters, activity, booking type, and selected tab.
  • If a view looks wrong, check saved filters before assuming a booking is missing.

Troubleshooting

Daily view does not match the booking list

What you see: A booking appears in one view but not another.

Do this:

  1. Confirm both views use the same date.
  2. Check selected facility filters.
  3. Check selected activity and booking type filters.
  4. Check daily status filters such as reserved, arrived, completed, or no-show.
  5. Refresh the page.
  6. Open the booking list and search for the booking directly.

Staff cannot create from a slot

What you see: Staff open a daily slot but cannot create a manual booking from it.

Do this:

  1. Check whether the slot is already full.
  2. Confirm the activity still accepts bookings for that date.
  3. Confirm the staff member has access to create bookings.
  4. Create the booking from the booking list if the slot shortcut is unavailable.
